New York City Mandarin Chinese Summer School

Running from July 5 to August 25, 2017 SWAN summer Chinese Enrichment program provides preschool, elementary and middle school students with a unique curriculum that focuses on Chinese language learning, English and Math studies, cultural activities, musical classes and field trips. Physical and recreational sports are provided to keep your child active. SWAN’s curriculum integrates project-based learning with visits to rich cultural institutions to engage students linguistically and academically. Since summer of 2011, SWAN has opened our program to all children between the ages of 4 to 14 in experiencing studies at SWAN. In 2015, SWAN expanded the summer program to pre-schooler, ages 3.5 and up. This year, SWAN Summer Program will also include students at age 2 and age 3.

SWAN Chinatown Sports Clinic

In partnership with the Charles B. Wang Community Center (http://www.cbwchc.org/) SWAN is launching Sports Clinic and introducing fun exercises, basketball and other sports to the SWAN family.

CBW’s innovative “Education through Exercise” program will facilitate the incorporation of team sports and physical activities into our children’s lives to battle child obesity and increase consciousness of exercise and public health.

SWAN Ping Pong (Table Tennis)

In partnership with the American Youth Table Tennis Organization (AYTTO), during after school and summer programming, SWAN offers urban school students an opportunity to learn the exciting, dynamic and strategic sport of table tennis.  AYTTO’s programs incorporate more than table tennis.  Through the sport that everyone loves to play, we teach leadership, fitness, teamwork, and fair play. SWAN’s Ping Pong Team has earned the 2012 and 2014 NYC Table Tennis League Team Champions award.
