Internship Opportunities:

Teaching Intern: SWAN’s Teaching Interns shadow our world-class educators. They will gain hands-on real-world experience in a classroom setting. This position is unpaid, but is eligible for community service hours, school credit, or the Presidential Volunteer Service Award. The Teaching Intern will provide classroom support such as preparing learning materials, encouraging student participation in activities, and promoting a positive classroom environment. This position is on-site at 90 Bowery (preschoolers) or 195 Worth Street (school-age). Must be 16 and older, able to speak only Mandarin in the classroom, must be active in the classroom, experience working with children a plus. Please fill out this application to apply. Office Intern: SWAN’s Office Interns will gain experience in school administration, non-profit administration, and general office management. This position is unpaid, but is eligible for community service hours, school credit, and/or the Presidential Volunteer Service Award. Office Interns will perform office work such as file organization, assist with enrollment, support with events as needed, promoting our programs to parents and visitors. The PVSA recognizes incredible individuals who are committed to a high level of volunteer and service. Interns meeting the eligibility requirements who complete a certain number of hours will be awarded by the presidential office of the United States
