Fu Mei oversees the organization by working closely with the board to maintain SWAN’s mission and vision. With the deep responsibility of ensuring consistent high-quality processes for New York City’s largest most academically enriching Chinese immersion programs. Fu Mei has over 20 years of operations experience and expertise in program development, evaluation and management, and organizational planning. Fu Mei’s abilities are leveraged by her strong history and experience with Chinese American communities and organizations. Her experience also spans both non-profit and private sectors, including her experience as Youth Program Director for the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center, and Vice President of Operations for Boston-based Lucky River Transportation company. Before working at SWAN, Fu Mei received distinguish recognition from the Greater Boston Arc in working with Kids of All Learning Abilities Award. Fu Mei’s professional interest lies in working with impactful Chinese American Non-Profit Organizations.

Fu Mei earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Boston University in Massachusetts, and is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
